One mom + two daughters = the Dream Team.
It’s safe to say that not many families set out to plan a wedding and then walk away with a business, but hey, we’re not exactly your average family.
It all started at our now co-owner Amy’s wedding. She and her husband booked their own dream day at a stunning historic hotel in downtown Minneapolis with everything they were looking for… except a furnished getting ready space.
Because moms always know best, her own mom (that’s Heidi, our Founder) raised the issue right away – where were Amy’s 10 bridesmaids going to get dressed? Clustering around the two outlets and exactly one mirror in her hotel suite wasn’t going to cut it, and getting ready in an empty conference room didn’t exactly say romantic and fabulous.
After discovering that there was no rental company out there ready to add function and style to the space, we rolled up our sleeves (literally, we move furniture!) and got to work. Amy and her bridesmaids started their day in style with our hot pink Marilyn suite, and Dream Day Dressing Rooms® was officially open for business.
